Unfortunately it does not work with blonde hair. Two days before the treatment, you should shave the unwanted hair. This way there is only a little bit of stubble left. During the treatment, a laser is shown on the areas with the stubble. The patient may feel a slight pinch like a rubber band snapping against their skin. Anesthetics can be provided. The laser essentially destroys the hair follicles and the bulge. This keeps new hairs from growing back in. This treatment only takes between ten and twenty minutes. After two weeks, the hairs should all fall out. The patient will need five treatments every five weeks. By the end of this period, 90-95% of the hairs will never come back.
